Which kingdom are you building?
I was talking to some people about their careers and if they feel fulfilled. Then we started talking about their parents or grandparents (baby-boomer), and if they’re contented with their careers. Their answers really made me put things in perspective. If we think back to our primitive times, all man lived for was to eat, fight and fuck. As for the women, they were here to nurture and reproduce. This all changed in ancient Kemit (Egypt), when the Moors (ancient Egyptians) brought in Moorish science. They brought knowledge, religion, politics and social structure to their people. They didn’t do this by guns, religion, manipulation or deception. They did this with intelligence, class and nobility; these men and women created pyramids and temple across Kemit by teaching their slaves Moorish science. They then created the first hierarchy, starting with the pharaoh, all the way down to the peasants (as shown below).
The pharaoh were worshiped in carvings and paintings, and lavished in gold and jewellery. They were even mummified when they died, to preserve and worship their body forever. Up to today, people still marvel at the ancient Egyptian’s great achievements. Today, people try to emulate the , like Catholic Church for example, they have the Pope, Cardinal, Archbishop etc…Just like the pharaohs, high priest etc…All these hierarchy wouldn’t be successful without the hard labour of the peasants, slaves and labourers. Yet, you never see any praise going towards the labourers; just to King Tut or the pope. So, here we are today, nothing has changed. Look at the corporate hierarchy, it’s the same thing we are going through today. We get an education and work really hard, but we don’t get the praise. Yet Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and other pharaohs, get all the praise. There are ways that you can climb up the hierarchy but between politics, racism, sexism, ageism and homophobia, it’s a slippery slope. People work extremely hard but which kingdom are you building? We plan our whole life working and building another pharaoh’s kingdom, and what is that doing for us at the end of the day?
I know senior citizens that are retired and they’re unhappy because their entire livelihood was wrapped up in their jobs. Now that they’re retired, they never worked on their own kingdom, so they feel lost. A lot of baby boomers just go back into a shell, and their body eventually shuts down like an idle car. When I say kingdom, I don’t mean necessarily building your own business. I mean, preserve your health and relationships, expand your mind, start another career, reconnect with your family or pursue your dreams. The same talent and skills you use to build someone else’s kingdom, are the same talents and skills you can use to build your own legacy. Just remember there are a lot more important things in your life beside the 8 hours you spend in someone else’s kingdom.
